CPF has demonstrated great expertise in the design and installation of thermal distribution and transmission lines including steam, HTHW and chilled water, as well as have a record of many successful projects in both the private and public sectors. Great emphasis is given to the field survey aspects of the design work including close coordination with all other utility owners and operators and research of all available archive utility drawings and maps. In developing profiles, test pitting of existing utilities along the intended path of the new installation is performed by means of vacuum excavation. Once all this information is obtained, the optimum corridor for installation is established and the project continues with the installation. The survey and design aspect of the project assures a more successful installation process with minimal delays and conflicts.
